Similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, the OnePlus 10T falls apart in a durability test.

The OnePlus 10 Pro failed a terrible durability test earlier this year where it broke in half during the bend test. So it stands to reason that the OnePlus 10T, the company's second flagship model of this year, would debut with aesthetic upgrades. You might be let down, though.

In a recent video, JerryRigEverything, a well-known tech YouTuber, put the OnePlus 10T model to the test of durability. In the video, he subjected the smartphone to the standard durability tests, including burns, bends, and fires. Unfortunately for the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, this year's initial flagship model broke in half after failing the bend test.

The YouTuber noted that a structural point of collapse under the camera module is probably to blame for this. So, it stands to reason that the corporation will alter this design to increase structural integrity. However, the OnePlus 10T model also almost exactly replicated this scene. On the front and rear, the smartphone's display did endure a level 6 Moh's hardness test, and the flame tests did not permanently damage the OLED display either.

But after the bend test, the disappointment became apparent. In this instance, the 10T model snapped identically like the earlier 10 Pro. Under pressure, the frame shattered directly beneath the camera module. Zach was able to totally disassemble the smartphone with just his bare hands, as seen in the video. He was able to remove the cameras from the device and even extract the display from the chassis. Or, a spontaneous tear-down video taken during a durability test.
