On Monday, during the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries, the Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC services were unveiled. While the Jio Cloud PC is a virtual PC that is hosted in the cloud and requires no hardware, the JioAirFiber enables customers to access Gigabit-speed Internet without any cables. Jio True 5G is the name given by Reliance Jio to their fifth-generation mobile network service, which will be the foundation for both the Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC.
Akash Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Jio, presented the new Jio AirFiber and Jio Cloud PC at the 45th Annual General Meeting of RIL. As previously indicated, the JioAirFiber enables customers to connect to wireless networks at home and business to get Gigabit-speed Internet.
A wireless single device that can be hooked into a power source and used as a Wi-Fi hotspot is the JioAirFiber Home Gateway. Jio's True 5G will be used to link it to a fast Internet connection.
On the other hand, the Jio Cloud PC functions effectively as a virtual PC that is hosted in the cloud using Jio True 5G connectivity. Physical laptops and desktops are replaced by the idea, which has minimal hardware requirements. Multiple PCs can be connected with it, and users just pay for what they use.
For the next two months, Reliance Jio will invest Rs. 2 lakh crore on the rollout of 5G services in India.
