According to rumours, Xiaomi is developing a new tablet that it intends to market under the Redmi sub-brand. The item was given the name "Redmi Pad 5G" because it was mentioned in a MIUI 13 survey.

Popular tipper Mukul Sharma has just disclosed that "a new Redmi tablet" is currently being produced in large quantities throughout several European and Eurasian nations. This is probably the eagerly anticipated Redmi Pad 5G.

Although there hasn't been much information released about the tablet up to this point, we do have a live photo that was leaked last month that shows the tablet's rear appearance.

A few months ago, the tablet was also discovered on the CMIIT certification list, indicating that it would enable Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 5G connectivity. In addition, a 3C listing of the same device with the model number 22081281AC confirmed functionality for 67W fast charging.

According to other sources, the tablet might be equipped with a MediaTek CPU and the low-end MIUI Lite operating system. The possibility exists that a Pro version with a potent chipset will appear in the future.

This is the complete scope of information available on the upcoming Redmi Pad 5G. However, as the device has reached the serial production stage, we are sure to receive more information on it in the coming days. So, stay tuned.
