Redmi 11A Allegedly Certified by 3C, Xiaomi Civi 2, and Charging Specifications Tipped

 If previous leaks are any indication, the Xiaomi Civi 2 might be released as soon as next month. The Xiaomi Civi successor supposedly surfaced on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website in a recent update. According to the advertisement, the forthcoming phone would offer 67W fast charging. Additionally, 5G connectivity is stated for it. Another low-cost 5G smartphone has allegedly appeared alongside the Xiaomi Civi 2 on the 3C website. This listing, which implies support for 10W fast charging, is thought to belong to the Redmi 11A.

Two unreleased Xiaomi smartphones with the model IDs 2209129SC and 22095RA98C have received certification from China's 3C website, according to a report from Nashvillechatter. The first is thought to be the Xiaomi Civi 2, and the second is thought to be the Redmi 11A.

According to reports, a charger with the model number MDY-12-EF was discovered with the Xiaomi Civi 2, indicating that the future device will offer 67W fast charging. The Redmi 11A rumoured charger's included charger appears to offer up to 10W fast charging. According to the 3C listing, both phones will support 5G connectivity.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 and Redmi 11A have not yet been officially announced by Xiaomi.


As a replacement for the Xiaomi Civi from last year, previous rumours indicate that the Xiaomi Civi 2 could be unveiled around September. According to reports, the new model is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The Xiaomi Civi 2 may include a micro-curved flexible OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, claims tipper Digital Chat Station. According to reports, the panel has low bezels and Dolby Vision technology. On the other hand, the Redmi 11A's specifications are anticipated to surface online soon.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 and its existence have not yet been confirmed by Xiaomi. Recall that the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Xiaomi Civi had a starting price of CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 29,600) when it was first released in the Chinese market.

The Snapdragon 778G SoC of the Xiaomi Civi is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of inbuilt storage to power its 6.55-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Other notable features of the phone include a 4,500mAh battery with 55W quick charging and a triple back camera arrangement with a 64-megapixel main sensor.
