At $899, the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in the US, competing with brands like Samsung and Apple. A few months later, the price of the OnePlus 10 Pro has been set permanently at $799.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be $100 less expensive in North America just as of August 3. OnePlus said in a statement to the media that the price cut was done to be more competitive in the market but that the cost of its flagship phone will not alter globally.
Simply put, the higher price gives the OnePlus 10 Pro a competitive advantage over rival Android flagships in the US. It has a starting price that is equal to the Galaxy S22 and is $100 cheaper than the Pixel 6 Pro, which OnePlus beats in terms of screen and battery life.
The OnePlus 10 Pro's 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen includes a variable refresh rate (1Hz to 120Hz). It is a curved punch-hole panel with a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) and a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. The phone has 1300 nits of brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which supports 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There are three cameras on the rear, the primary one being a 48MP Sony IMX789 main lens with OIS. It comes with a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide lens and an 8MP 3.3x telephoto lens with OIS. There has a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor in it.
The cost at OnePlus.com and other online retailers like Amazon will change on August 3. The new pricing will go into effect on August 14 on T-Mobile, OnePlus' only US network partner. The 256GB model will now cost $869, while the 128GB model will cost $799.
