The constant stream of rumours and leaks around the iPhone 14 series seems to have no end. However, a recent Weibo leak shows what appears to be a physical iPhone 14 Pro device. If the leaked pictures and videos prove to be real, it would be a rare instance of a leaker getting the jump on Apple before the anticipated September 7 official "Far Out" launch event.
First Real-Life Image Leaks from the iPhone 14 Pro
The leaked photos of the iPhone 14 Pro offer a clear view of the forthcoming phone's final design. A video of the purported Purple iPhone 14 model is also included in the Weibo post by user Sleepy Afternoon (posted via DuanRui on Twitter). Though, thereal icing on this cake is the fact that none of the leaked iPhone 14 Pro images and videos are renders. These seem to be actual photographs of the device.
According to the leaked pictures, the next iPhone Pro may debut with a notch that is different from the usual rounded rectangular block. Instead, the new design has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and a pill-shaped cutout to house the Face ID sensor. Furthermore, it appears that the new design gives gamers and media consumers a little bit extra screen space. Despite this, these leaks are still unable to corroborate or refute current claims that the Pro models will have an always-on display and a 48MP main sensor.
Purple iPhone 14 Series
Model The first of these leaked pictures displays a small portion of the new iPhone models in four different colour schemes, including blue, gold, purple, and black. It stands out by not having the Product RED version that was present in previous iPhone models. There were no green or white variations in this Weibo leak, despite previous leaks' hints to the contrary. The most intriguing colour option appears to be purple, which is reminiscent of the unique blue colour schemes used in the previous iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. Though it wasn't revealed at the time of debut, the basic iPhone 12 model was marketed in a similar shade of purple.
