Thanks to a well-known tipster, a photograph of an iPhone 14 Pro screen cover has appeared online. The graphic suggests a smartphone with a hole-punch cutout adjacent to a pill-shaped cutout for the selfie camera and Face ID biometric verification mechanism. In the past, the smartphone's CAD models have suggested a similar display layout and design. The similar design was also allegedly depicted in earlier tipster-shared pictures of the iPhone 14 Pro's front panel.
Ice Universe, a tipster, posted a picture of a screen protector on Twitter. The screen cover, according to the tipper, is from an iPhone 14 Pro. According to the image posted, the rumoured Apple smartphone will most likely have two cuts on the display. The selfie camera could be housed in the hole-punched cutout next to the pill-shaped cutout that could house the Face ID sensor. This is not the first time that the iPhone 14 Pro phones' pill-shaped and hole-punch cuts have been mentioned.
Online sharing of CAD models of the iPhone 14 Pro occurred last month. They displayed the handset's display, which included the identical cuts. The most recent leak is consistent with the tipster's earlier published CAD renderings of the iPhone 14 Pro, which showed a display cutout in the form of a pill and a hole. The CAD renderings have also shown that the phone would have smaller side bezels.
A pill-shaped hole-punch cutout was suggested by a leaked photograph of the front panel of the iPhone 14 Pro earlier this year, according to reports. The iPhone 14 Pro Max was apparently expected to have the same look. Also apparently appearing online in the past are the purported iPhone 14 Pro design renderings.
