Users are connected through seamless platform-to-platform connectivity. The fact that the iOS, macOS, and iPadOS operating systems are all perfectly linked with one another within Apple's ecosystem accounts for the company's devoted fan base. Users of the Apple ecosystem can easily and profitably share files and media between their iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks at the same time and location.

Therefore, it is not surprising that Android makers strive to imitate the experience in order to give Android users a similarly seamless integration. As an illustration, Huawei has been successful in developing their own ecosystem with their smartphones, tablets, Huawei Matebook laptops, and smart TVs using HarmonyOS, which they built internally.

And it appears like another in 2022.  player will be joining the smart ecosystem competition as well, and it is none other the biggest brand of the BBK consumers electronics group  – Oppo.

Oppo today previewed the debut of "Pantanal," a new cross-platform smart device ecosystem that would feature smartphones, tablets, wearables, and other connected devices all under one smart ecosystem. The announcement was made on the company's official Weibo social media account.

The teaser indicates that Oppo will launch "Pantanal" during ODC 2022 (Oppo Developers Conference 2022), which will take place in China on Tuesday, August 30.

The Pantanal is the world's biggest tropical wetland and one of the most pristine, covering more than 42 million acres. To put the Pantanal's enormity in perspective, consider that it would be larger than at least nine nations, including England, Austria, Hungary, Greece, and Ireland if it were placed over Europe.

There are millions of people living there as well as towns in the lower Rio de la Plata Basin thanks to its sprawling presence in three South American nations: Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay. This enormous marsh also boasts the highest density of crocodiles in the world, with an estimated 10 million caimans.

Chinese sources claim that, along with Oppo's Marisilicon release, the Pantanal smart cross-platform ecosystem is one of the three most significant launches for Oppo this year. The Pantanal, to which the term "Pantanal" refers, is a region in South America that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
