OnePlus 10T was only recently made public at a livestream event that took place yesterday (3rd August 2022). The business also debuted OxygenOS 13, its most recent Android OS-based custom skin, at the same conference. In comparison to the predecessor, it comes with a lot of additional features and a lot of design changes. Let's have a look, then.

Unquestionably, the new Android 13 OS update is one of OxygenOS 13's most important additions. The OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first device to receive the OxygenOS 13 beta, while the 10T, which was just released, will receive it later. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has introduced an entirely new design philosophy for the custom skin's UX with the latest release. The company has named it "Aquamorphic Design," a style that is influenced by water.

The user interface will have smooth rounded edges with OxygenOS 13 to provide a more enticing viewing experience. It not only delivers cosmetic improvements but also functionality, and the overall system's colour also takes on a darker hue. Updates to the Always On Display, which now lets you connect both Spotify and Bitmoji, are among the additional system upgrades. The launcher has also undergone adjustments. Apps in folders can now be launched without first opening the folder.

A new Sidebar Toolbox, which many may recall from Oppo's ColorOS custom skin, is also included with OxygenOS 13. It also functions in the same way, allowing users to add programmes or activities to it. Even the Nord series down to the Nord CE 2 Lite will receive the OxygenOS 13 update from the firm, which will also be rolled out to earlier flagships up to the OnePlus 8. Models like the Nord 2 Lite, Nord N100, Nord N200 5G, Nord N10 5G, and Nord N20 5G fall under this category.
