Today, Oppo unveiled ColorOS 13 to the world. The user interface, which is based on Android 13, has numerous cosmetic updates, new AoD features, and enhanced cross-device communication. By the end of this month, the business assured, its OS will be available for Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, and it will be available for 60 different versions by the end of H1 2023.
Oppo introduced Aquamorphic design, which essentially adds more rounded corners to its interface and widgets, using a lot of flowery language. The manufacturer also integrated the Material You into ColorOS, and the icons look better.
Additionally, animations now have a watery quality and Oppo's internal operating system has adopted Android's colour schemes.
Bitmojis and information on the music being played right now have been added to the Always-on display. Currently, the latter widget only functions with Spotify and the built-in music app. Oppo also provides information about always-on, including the date and cost of the phone's unlocking.
The Control centre also received playback control as a result of the panel's natural evolution beyond its primary function as a notification shade. Additionally, it enables a horizontal layout with notifications on the right and toggles to the left.
In ColorOS 13, functional upgrades are accompanied by enhancements to privacy and security. A neat feature that would save users a lot of time when sharing screenshots of their talks with the public is the UI's current automated pixelation of avatars and names in chat snapshots. The Oppo Air tablet and any Windows laptop are compatible with the multi-screen cross-device cooperation.
This is the whole list of gadgets that are expected to receive ColorOS 13, and Oppo assured us that every one of them will also receive Android 13.
