Realme released the Realme X3 smartphone in June 2020 with an Android 10-based Realme UI. The smartphone received its Android 11 upgrade in May of last year, and an Android 12 update is now due.
Realme UI 3.0 open beta testing for the Realme X3 smartphone has officially started. Users can access the open beta testing by going to Settings > Software Update, tapping on the settings icon in the upper right corner, selecting Trial Version, entering their information, and then selecting Apply Now. Before applying for the open beta, make sure your device is running version RMX2081 11.C.13 or RMX2081 11.C.14.
Before choosing to install the update, Realme has outlined some important points that you should read
- Please make sure your phone is not rooted.
- To prevent data loss, please backup your personal data before proceeding.
- Some third-party application versions might not be compatible with Android 12 yet, after updating these applications might not be available or crashing down on your device. Therefore, it is recommended to update all your applications to the latest version available in the Play Store before your update.
- The Open Beta versions may have an unpredictable impact on your phone and effect on daily use.
- Please ensure that the available phone storage is more than 5GB. Otherwise, there will be a risk of update failure (To check the phone storage head to Settings > Additional Settings > Storage).
The common issues faced with the current build are longer boot time after the update and slight hanging and faster power consumption after the first boot.
