On August 10, Samsung has scheduled its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, during which the South Korean tech giant will introduce the Galaxy Watch 5 series and the next-generation foldable smartphones.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has been revealed online ahead of their official release next week, indicating that they won't be any more expensive than their forerunners

The basic 40mm model of the Galaxy Watch 5 will start at 349 CAD, or about $270, according to the leak, while the 44mm model will cost 389 CAD, or about $300. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm, on the other hand, will cost $559 CAD, which is about equivalent to $435.
Online price leaks for the future smartwatches have previously occurred. If the price listed there is correct, the 40mm Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 5 model will cost €259.98, while the 44nm Bluetooth model would cost €286.90.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45nm variant, on the other hand, will cost €430.89. The cost tends to be on the higher side in the European market, thus the devices will be slightly less expensive elsewhere.
The smartwatches' appearance is anticipated to be similar to that of its forerunners, with a round dial and a variety of sensors for tracking and providing health-related information.
