According to a community post on Samsung's official forum, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series has apparently started receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta in India. In the subcontinent, the beta update is available with the build version S908EXXU2ZVHK. According to the screenshots released, it also provides the August 2022 Android security patch to the Galaxy S22 series. According to reports, the One UI 5.0 beta upgrade in India is little around 3GB in size. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra are all part of the Galaxy S22 series.

A member on Samsung's official site reported that the South Korean tech giant has begun distributing the One UI 5.0 beta update for Android 13 to Indian versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The S908EXXU2ZVHK build version of the new beta release is visible in the nation.

The user also included a couple screenshots of the brand-new One UI 5.0 beta update in the post. The screenshots show that the update applies the Android security patch for August 2022 to the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Its size is just under 3GB. Additionally, according to the post, users will be able to select from up to 16 colour schemes based on the wallpaper with the upcoming update. According to the screenshots, Samsung has also advised users to backup their data before updating their smartphones. Since the user interface is currently in development, some functionalities might not work everywhere.

Additionally, Twitter user SuperRoader (@RoderSuper) has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones would begin receiving the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable version on October 17 or October 19. The information is consistent with a report from June of this year, which also stated that all Galaxy phones who qualify will receive the stable version of the One UI 5.0 in October.

In Germany, Samsung had earlier this month begun distributing the One UI 5.0 beta, which is based on Android 13. The first 500 owners of the Galaxy S22 series received the update for a brief period of time. According to reports, the update was being distributed in Germany with the build version S90xBXXU2ZHV4. Samsung has not yet provided a firm release date for One UI 5.0's stable version. The business hasn't yet disclosed a list of devices that will work with the most recent One UI.

In case you forgot, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series debuted in February of this year. The series includes the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra, as was already announced. A 6.1-inch AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate is included on the standard Galaxy S22. Eight gigabytes of RAM and an octa-core 4nm SoC power it.
