Viewing and Managing Notifications
Using the companion app on your linked smartphone or directly from your Wear OS wearable, you may manage notifications. We'll be using a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Wearable companion app for the sake of this guide.
For all incoming alerts, a notification indicator (a little orange dot) will be shown on the left side of your watch face. When you tap and hold this indicator and swipe right, you can access your notifications. Swiping right will allow you to see all of your alerts if you have more than one.
Tap on each notice to examine the details or take action. To use the feature, you may occasionally need to swipe up from the bottom of your watch. Keep in mind that the procedure will vary based on the device you're using.

How to Change the Vibration and Sound Settings
Your pace can be accommodated by changing the vibration and sound settings. The strength, frequency, and vibration patterns are all adjustable. How to do it is as follows:
Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
Navigate to Sounds and vibration under Watch settings. Three options are available: Sound, Vibrate, and Mute.
You may select the notification vibration duration as either Short or Long depending on whether you want alerts to ring out for a longer period of time (like a calendar app) or for a shorter period of time. The vibration pitch can also be set to Light or Strong, and you can select from a variety of notification noises.
Instead, adhere to the instructions below to put this up on your smartwatch:
Swipe up to open the app drawer on your smartwatch.
Navigate to Settings > Sounds and vibration > Notification vibration (the gear symbol).
Similar menu options for managing your incoming alerts may be found on your smartwatch. Simply follow the above instructions to change the vibration and sound settings to your preference.
How to Temporarily Disable Wear OS Notifications Using Silent Modes
On your Wear OS smartwatch, there are a few various ways to manage your alerts, including a few transient modes like Do Not Disturb, Bedtime Mode, and Theater Mode. Let's examine them more closely.
Mode Do Not Disturb
Your smartwatch's Do Not Disturb mode is a useful function that can give you more control over incoming notifications and alerts. You can select Do Not Disturb mode to activate only during certain hours of the day or whenever you need it most. Here's how to configure your smartwatch's Do Not Disturb setting:
Swipe down from the top of your watch face to see the Quick Panel tray.
To activate the Do not disturb mode, tap the toggle.
Launch the Galaxy Wearable app and go to Watch settings > Notifications > Sync do not disturb with phone in order to sync these settings with your connected smartphone.
Sleep Mode
It can be a little annoying when notifications on your phone or smartwatch randomly appear when you're trying to unwind. Fortunately, you can temporarily mute notifications with the Bedtime Mode. The feature suppresses all alerts as well as any wake-up gestures you may have configured once it is enabled on your smartwatch. Configuring the feature:
Swipe down on your smartwatch to get to the Quick Panel.
Choose the bedtime setting. This can be turned on for a predetermined amount of time or until the feature is manually disabled.
Go to Watch settings > Advanced features > Sync bedtime mode to make synchronisation via the Galaxy wearable app possible.
Dramatic Mode
The Theater mode can help you avoid disruptive interruptions whether you're watching a movie or meeting up with pals. Go to Quick Panel > Theater mode (the clapperboard icon) to enable the feature, then choose how long you want it to last.
Organize Your Notifications
Increasingly practical and convenient features are being added to smartwatches. You have a number of choices at your disposal to enhance your smartwatch experience, such as disabling particular notifications or switching your watch faces.
