Online rumours claim that Xiaomi will introduce the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro, their 2022 flagship-killing products, as early as next month in September.

Additionally, we witnessed the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro receive electronics certifications from the NBTC agency in Thailand and the FCC in the United States last week. And as of today, both gadgets were listed as legally certified in the database of the Malaysian electronics safety regulation agency (SIRIM), according to the technology news website Amanz in Malaysia.

The model numbers and names for the future Xiaomi 12T series are disclosed in the listings. The model numbers for the normal Xiaomi 12T are 22071212AG and 22081212UG, respectively, for the 12T Pro. It is also safe to assume that nations like Malaysia, Thailand, and potentially other neighbouring Asian nations will be able to purchase the Xiaomi 12T series now that the safety certificates for both devices have been formally authorised.

According to our prior reports, the standard Xiaomi 12T is anticipated to come equipped with MediaTek's top Dimensity 8100 Ultra SoC, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of onboard storage. It will have a triple-camera configuration with a resolution of 108 megapixels and support for 67 fast wired charging.

According to an FCC listing, the more expensive Xiaomi 12T Pro will be available with dual SIM support, standalone and non-standalone 5G capabilities, and NFC to boot. A 6.67-inch bright AMOLED FHD+ 144Hz display and an in-screen fingerprint scanner is to be present on the Xiaomi 12T Pro.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage will all power the tablet. The device will run MIUI 13, an Android 12-based operating system. It is anticipated to come with a 5,000mAh battery capable of 120W rapid charging.
