Official Launch of the Xiaomi 12 Lite in Malaysia and the Philippines, Pre-Orders Accepted Through August 26

 The Xiaomi 12 Lite Europe, a follow-up to the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE from the previous year, was released last month. And in August, Xiaomi revealed that it had introduced its stunning 2022 mid-range smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Lite, in two important Southeast Asian nations, the Philippines and Malaysia. This marked the Xiaomi 12 Lite's official arrival on Asian soil.

For RM 1699 (379 USD) for the 8GB + 128GB storage option and RM 1899 (424 USD) for the 8GB + 256GB storage option, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be sold in Malaysia. The Xiaomi 12 Lite, meanwhile, will cost 20999 (374 USD) for the 6GB + 128GB version and 21999 (392 USD) for the 8GB + 128GB option in the Philippines.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is currently available for pre-order and will remain so through August 26 in both nations. Several pre-order promotions that Xiaomi has announced in conjunction with the launch may entice customers to think about the Xiaomi 12 Lite in both countries.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is powered by Qualcomm's mid-range Snapdragon 778G SoC, which supports dual-band 5G. It comes pre-loaded with Android 12 and MIUI 13 and has a 4300mAh battery that supports 67W rapid wired charging as well as twin Dolby Atmos speakers.

The 6.55-inch AMOLED screen on the Xiaomi 12 Lite has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, and support for AdaptiveSync, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+.

Pre-orders for the Xiaomi 12 Lite, which comes in Lite Green, Lite Pink, and Black, are being taken in Malaysia and the Philippines through August 26.
