It was just recently revealed that the Nothing Phone (1) would be available worldwide. It had even been introduced in the Indian market, making it a widely anticipated launch. But only a few weeks after it was introduced, the business increased its price in India. Let's examine the company's reasoning for this decision.
Vice President and General Manager of Nothing India, Manu Sharma, reportedly disclosed the specifics of this pricing increase. "Thank you for the affection shown for Phone (1), with fluctuating currency exchange rates & increased component costs, we had to change prices," the senior official wrote in a tweet. The Phone (1), which had a launch price of 32,999 Indian rupees, would now be sold for 33,999.
In other words, the base 8GB + 128GB model now costs 1,000 INR more than it did at launch. The top-end 12GB + 256GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model have both witnessed price increases of 1,000 INR in the Indian market. The CEO claimed that the increased cost of the components and shifting currency exchange rates were both to blame for the price increase.
In terms of the smartphone itself, it has a 6.55-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage will be fount.
