The popular YouTuber Jon Prosser shared important information about the incoming 4th generation iPhone SE during an appearance on the Geared Up podcast with Andru Edwards and Jon Rettinger (via AppleTrackr). Based on the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE 2022 was created. According to the latest report, the iPhone SE will be built on the iPhone XR, which was just announced.
The iPhone SE 4 will be "simply an iPhone XR," claims Prosser. This suggests that it will have Face ID, a notched display, and narrow bezels. This further hints that a Touch ID sensor could not be present.
The Apple A15 Bionic chip, which is the same technology seen in the iPhone 13 series, powers the iPhone SE 2022. There are many rumours suggesting that the iPhone 14 and 14 Max, which will launch next month, will use the Apple A15 processor while the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will use the Apple A16 Bionic.
So it seems likely that the Apple A15 Bionic chip will be found in the iPhone SE 4. The rest of its features might be the same as those of the iPhone XR, which Apple has passed on. Less demand for the iPhone SE has been reported, which shows that consumers may not be interested in buying an iPhone with an outdated design.
Mobile phone XR, which went official in 2018, came with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina IPS LCD display that offered 828 x 1792 pixels. The A12 Bionic chip-powered device featured 3 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 2,942mAh battery with 15W charging support. It came with a 7-megapixel front camera and an OIS-enabled 12-megapixel rear camera.
