The well-known language-learning website Duolingo has announced the release of Duolingo Math, its first app for subjects other than language. For its beta testing, the business has launched a public queue, but it is presently only open to iPhone and iPad owners. A game-like interface is used by Duolingo Math to teach and assess elementary-level mathematical ideas, such as multiplication, division, fractions, angles, and fundamental geometry. The service's new course is geared toward school-age youngsters.

The beta phase of the primary school mathematics-focused Duolingo Math app will soon begin. By registering on the business website and providing their email addresses, interested customers can add their names to the waitlist. Currently, it is only accessible on iPhone and iPad devices and teaches third-grade maths.

The software will employ graphics to instruct users on subjects including multiplication, division, fractions, area, perimeter, angles, chronology, and more. The Duolingo Math app will incorporate gamification to the entire learning process, similar to the language learning platform. Today during the company's fourth annual Duocon conference, more information about the launch date of the new companion app's features will be disclosed. The online gathering will start at 8:30 p.m. IST/11 am EST and be livestreamed through the official channels.

Luis von Ahn founded the Pittsburgh-based Duolingo in 2014, and it now provides more than 100 courses in 41 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Navajo, and Yiddish. There are about 42 million active monthly users of the app. The business estimates that it has received about 500 million downloads.

Earlier, Duolingo released the Duolingo ABC literacy app for kids between the ages of three and eight. The Google Play and Software Store app helps kids learn the alphabet, phonics, sight words, vocabulary, character-driven stories, and more as they read and write in English.
