Leaked Live Image of the Vivo Y16 Provides a Sneak Peek at Color Options Before Launch

 Since the device was recently discovered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, there are rumours that the Vivo Y16 will soon be released in India. Now, a trustworthy tipster has released purported live photos of the gadget showing off its two colour options: Black and Gold. The leaked image also provides a glance at the camera module and rear panel. According to recent rumours, the base model of this Vivo smartphone could retail for Rs. 11,499 when it is first released. A MediaTek Helio P35 SoC is rumoured to power the device.

Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), a tipster, allegedly shared the alleged live image of the Vivo Y16. It displays the handset's Black and Gold colour variants and gives a peek at the rear camera module. Guglani speculates that these Vivo models would be introduced shortly in India and other international markets.


Vivo has not yet provided any information about this smartphone. However, a new source appears to have made the full list of the Vivo Y16's specifications public. According to rumours, the smartphone would include a waterdrop notch on its 6.51-inch IPS LCD HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) display. It is rumoured to be powered by a 4GB RAM/MediaTek Helio P35 SoC combination. For improving performance, it is rumoured to have new features including Extended RAM 2.0, Multi Turbo 5.5, and Ultra Game Mode.

According to reports, the Vivo Y16 has a dual back camera system with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth/macro sensor. On the front, a 5-megapixel selfie camera is anticipated. This phone is thought to be powered by Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12.


A 5,000mAh battery will likely be present in this smartphone. A microSD card might be used to increase the inbuilt capacity, which is reported to be up to 128GB. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB, and Type-C connectivity options could be available on the Vivo Y16. Guglani has previously stated that the 4GB RAM version of the smartphone may cost Rs. 11,499.
