Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and the Galaxy Watch5 range of smartwatches during the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place yesterday. The company also unveiled its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro flagship earbuds, the next-generation model. Let's examine all of its specifications and features now.
Details and characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
The in-ear style of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is pretty similar to that of its predecessor. For improved fit and noise isolation, it has silicone ear tips. The manufacturer claims that the Active Noise Cancellation in the Buds 2 Pro can block ambient noises up to 33dB. Transparency mode is further supported. The Buds 2 Pro have an IPX7 water resistance rating and support Bluetooth 5.3.
Each of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro's 10mm speakers and 24-bit Hi-Fi audio processing ensure consistent, high-quality sound for clearer, richer audio. The earbuds use Dolby Head Tracking technology to mimic a cinematic sound experience and support 360-degree audio for a more realistic and immersive experience. They also have three microphones—two outside and one inside—which helps with call clarity and background noise reduction.
Voice Detect is another feature offered by the TWS earbuds that adjusts your sound as soon as you start speaking to someone around you so you can hear their response. In order to augment the conversation, this feature also switches the Buds 2 Pro from ANC Mode to Ambient Mode.
With ANC disabled, Samsung promises that a single charge will last up to 8 hours. The earphones' combined playback time when used with the charging case is up to 29 hours. Both wirelessly and with a USB-C connection are options for charging. The earbuds, according to Samsung, provide 55 minutes of listening time after a five-minute charge.
Cost and Availability
Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro cost $229. The TWS is offered in Bora Purple, Zenith White, and Zenith Grey. The earphones will be available for purchase in most areas starting on August 26.
