Two new models from MSI's Prestige series of thin and light business laptops include 16-inch displays. The Prestige 16 and Prestige 16 EVO (Intel EVO standard) models both come with Intel's Alder Lake-P CPUs and have a sleek Urban Silver chassis with a specialised dual-fan cooling system for practically noiseless operation (max 35 dB).
The 16-inch Mini-LED panel display panel in the non-EVO version has a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Due to its DisplayHDR 1000 certification and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, the screen is exceptionally bright. The EVO model, on the other hand, sports a display with an FHD+ resolution and 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage. However, HDR certification is not present.
One other distinction between the two alternatives is the graphical solution. The EVO model simply has an integrated Iris Xe GPU, while the premium version has an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU with 4 GB GDDR6 VRAM. In addition, these laptops include an NVMe PCIe 4.0 X4 M.2 SSD, 32 GB of soldered LPDDR5 RAM, and identical i7-1280P processors.
Two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two Thunderbolt 4 connectors with DP and charging modes, an HDMI video output, an audio combo jack, and a microSD card reader are all included with the laptops. Other features include an 82 Wh battery, a fingerprint sensor, an ambient light sensor, an FHD webcam with an IR sensor, and a noise-canceling AI-powered mic array. The keyboard is also illuminated in white.
