  Honor unveiled the Honor 70 5G and the Honor Pad 8 for the first time outside of China at a launch event yesterday in Malaysia. Additionally, the company unveiled the Honor MagicBook 14 in Malaysia. So let's look at the laptop's features and characteristics.

A 14-inch, 2.1K, 3:2 screen with a brightness rating of 300 nits and a 100% sRGB rich colour gamut is included on the MagicBook 14. Additionally, TUV Rheinland has awarded the screen its triple eye protection certification for reduced blue light and no screen flicker.


The laptop sports a 12th generation Intel Core i5-12500H processor and two graphics options: integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics or the 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics.GDDR6 VRAM. The laptop is available with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe Gen4 SSD. It comes with Microsoft Windows 11 and Office H&S 2021 pre-installed.

 The Honor MagicBook 14 has a grille-type double air inlet design, which increases the air intake size by 31.7%. It boasts an innovative heat-dissipation system with symmetrical dual fans, increasing air volume by 35%. It can dissipate heat 56% greater than its predecessor while maintaining a 20dB noise level.


The laptop boasts an all-metal body and a sizable 75Wh battery that supports 100W quick charging and can be charged to 100% in 80 minutes. The laptop also has the ability to reverse charge when it is turned off.


Pricing and accessibility

The Honor MagicBook 14 costs RM 4,299 and has a Core i5-12500H, 16GB RAM, Intel Iris Xe, and 512GB SSD. Alternatively, thelaptop equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 is priced at RM 5,099.


The MagicBook 14 will be available at Honor stores nationwide as well as the official Honor Shopee and Lazada stores.
