The MIJIA Disinfection Air Purifier has been introduced by Xiaomi. Starting on August 31, the new air purifier will be available for crowdfunding on the Youpin website. It has a crowdfunding pricing of 2149 yuan (about $311), however after the crowdfunding exercise, it will retail for 2499 yuan (roughly $362).

The cylindrical, metallic-textured MIJIA Disinfection Air Purifier is made. The top grille contains an OLED touch-enabled display and is easily removed for simple air duct cleaning.

The purifier uses a cycle that can both sterilise and filter out allergens thanks to its double anti-coating, ultraviolet UV light, and high-energy plasma sterilisation technology. Among them, the plasma generating device can consistently emit powerful positive and negative ions, primarily disinfecting airborne germs and viruses, and successfully avoidingcross-infection.

To prevent secondary pollution release, the integrated ultraviolet UV lamp will irradiate and disinfect inside bacteria in real time. A double anti-bacterial coating that may achieve 99.98% antibacterial and antiviral qualities is also included on the MIJIA Disinfection Air Purifier.

A six-stage progressive purification process is used by the MIJIA Air Purifier, which can remove 98.02% of formaldehyde in an hour. Additionally, there is 99.5% nano-level filtration, which can remove dust and absorb odours. The relevant size is 42 to 72 square metres, which can accommodate the living room, bedroom, office, and other areas. The air purification efficiency is 600 cubic metres per hour.

High-precision sensors that are integrated into the air purifier may also track changes in indoor air quality in real time for a whole 24-hour period. It will automatically turn on and spin when the PM2.5 level surpasses the threshold. It will automatically turn off after PM2.5 cleanup is finished in order to conserve power.

Through the MIJIA app, users can automatically turn the machine on and off, adjust the gear, and monitor the air quality. The purifier also has a long-term filter element that lasts 6 to 12 months; the user will be informed when it needs to be replaced.
