 On Tuesday, the US market saw the release of the Garmin Enduro 2. The "ultraperformance" smartwatch has a tough, lightweight construction and is intended for endurance athletes. With its solar charging feature, it is rumoured to offer a battery life of up to 46 days. According to claims, the wearable will facilitate and improve athletes' training and recovery processes. It also has music control and a tonne of options for improving performance and working out. Other features include a built-in LED flashlight, multicontinent TopoActive maps, and Garmin's proprietary SatIQ technology to maximise battery life.

Priced at $1,099.99 (about Rs. 87,400) for a single Black colour variant, the Garmin Enduro 2 is available via the Garmin website in the US.

A memory-in-pixel (MIP) display with a diameter of 1.4 inches and a resolution of 280x280 pixels is included with the Garmin Enduro 2. The watch sports a Power Sapphire lens that can be charged by the sun and a titanium bezel. The wearable comes with a dimmable LED flashlight that is claimed to be twice as bright as the Garmin Fenix 7X's flashlight and to be the brightest flashlight on a Garmin smartwatch to date. Additionally, it has a red safety light mode and an optional strobe mode.

The navigation features on the Garmin Enduro 2 include preloaded TopoActive and ski maps as well as multi-band GNSS with SatIQ technology for precise positioning. Various training-related features, such as grade-adjusted performance indicators, are also available to monitor and improve the exercise programme. A graphic race predictor gives an estimated pace for prospective runs based on past running performance and general level of fitness.
