Thursday saw the introduction of Realme 9i 5G, the brand's newest low-cost smartphone. The device has a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, a triple-camera array with a 50-megapixel resolution on the back, and a 5,000mAh battery. According to Realme, the smartphone has Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, which increases virtual RAM to enhance app responsiveness. Additionally, it receives a retro CD design with a shiny texture. Prior to the debut, Realme has made a handful of the specifications public.
Price and availability of the Realme 9i 5G
The base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Realme 9i 5G model costs Rs. 14,999 in India, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs Rs. 16,999. The company is selling the phones for Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively, with a Rs. 1,000 HDFC Bank discount. On August 24 at noon, the Realme smartphone will be available for purchase in the colours Metallica Gold, Rocking Black, and Soulful Blue.
Specifications for the Realme 9i 5G
Realme UI 3.0, an Android 12 based user interface, is used by the dual-SIM (nano) Realme 9i 5G. It has a 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400) screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a brightness of 400 nits. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G SoC and can support up to 6GB of RAM.
The Realme 9i 5G has a triple back camera for pictures and videos. There is a portrait camera, a macro camera, and a 50 megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens. The smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens for selfies and video calls.
A microSD card can be used to enhance the storage of the Realme 9i 5G up to 128GB (up to 1TB). 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/AGPS, and a USB Type-C port are among the available forms of connectivity. Onboard sensors include acceleration, light, proximity, and magnetic induction sensors.
