The brand-new Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 is the company's first-ever ThinkPad model to use an AMD Ryzen 6000 CPU. From 2011 forward, the ThinkPad Z13 will compete with the ThinkPad X1 series with Intel support. In order to provide ThinkPads that are exclusive to AMD, Lenovo and AMD have collaborated to create the new ThinkPad Z series. The ThinkPad X1 Nano is one of the kinds of laptops that Intel continues to co-develop with Lenovo.
Compact laptop from Lenovo with a different design than the X1 series is the ThinkPad Z13. The business wants to draw new customers to its ThinkPad laptops. It sports a redesigned haptic touchpad, a reworked keyboard layout, and different chassis materials. The ThinkPad TrackPoint does not have any distinct buttons on the haptic touchpad. The ThinkPad Z13 has an AMD Ryzen 6000 series CPU. The base model will include a Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U processor, placing it marginally above the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 in a recent benchmark assessment. The Dell XPS 13 Plus outperformed the Z13 while also outperforming the Apple MacBook Air M2.
The ThinkPad Z13's benchmark evaluation findings appear good. As the introduction of the notebook approaches, a number of more tests on the laptop will emerge. The ThinkPad Z13's prospective launch date and detailed specifications are still unknown.
