Four models—the Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50e, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS—are anticipated to be part of the next portfolio. They might be operated on the most recent HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system from the manufacturer and powered by the Kirin 9000S SoC. The Huawei Mate 40 devices, which were announced in 2020, will be replaced by the Huawei Mate 50 series.

The Huawei Mate 50 series has arrived in China, according to a post made by the Chinese smartphone company on Weibo. On September 6, the flagship series will be unveiled. But neither the launch date nor the precise name of the phones are mentioned in the post.


The Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50e, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS may make their debut at the event based on the company's past performance. They might work with HarmonyOS 3.0.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, and Huawei Mate 50 RS, according to previous leaks. In contrast, the Huawei Mate 50e is most likely to include a Snapdragon 778G SoC. A 13-megapixel selfie camera might be available for all four variants.

According to rumours, the Huawei Mate 50 will have a 6.28-inch to 6.56-inch full-HD (1,225x2,800 pixels) OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured to include up to 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM. Other anticipated features of the gadget include a 4,400mAh battery with support for 66W rapid charging and a triple rear camera array led by a 50-megapixel IMX766 sensor.

A 6.78-inch or 6.81-inch full-HD+ (1,212x2,612 pixels) curved AMOLED display with up to 120Hz variable refresh rate is anticipated for the next Huawei Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS. They could have up to 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. They are expected to include three rear cameras, with the 50-megapixel IMX800 sensor serving as the focal point. A 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging and wireless charging capabilities is claimed to be included in them.
