Wireless headphones powered by solar energy from Adidas are now available in the US. The headphones have a control knob that may be used to answer or reject calls, regulate the volume, skip tunes, and more. They can charge using both natural and artificial light. The Adidas RPT-02 SOL has Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and 45mm dynamic drivers. For resistance to sweat and water, they have an IPX4 rating. Adidas boasts that the playback time on their brand-new audio device is up to 80 hours.

The Adidas RPT-02 SOL retails for $229 (around Rs. 18,000) in the US. They are currently available on the company website in the colours Solar Yellow and Night Grey. On August 23, Adidas will begin delivering the new wireless headphones.

The 45mm dynamic speakers within the brand-new Adidas RPT-02 SOL premium over-ear wireless headphones have a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz, a sensitivity rating of 105dB, and an impedance of 32 Ohms. They have microphones and a five-way control knob that may be used to turn them on, off, play, pause, replay, and pair them with other devices. They furthermore have LED status indications.
The Powerfoyle solar charging panel from the Swedish business Exeger is mounted on top of the Adidas RPT-02 SOL. When the panel is exposed to sunshine, the headphones can recharge on their own. The panel completely encircles the top of the headband, providing the device with a significant surface area to absorb both ambient and artificial light for charging. Additionally, it is stated that the Adidas RPT-02 SOL's inner headband and ear cushions are detachable and washable.
The IPX4-rated body of the Adidas RPT-02 SOL is resistant to water and dust. The Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity on the headphones has a 10 metre maximum operating range. The Adidas Headphones app may be used with them to control the solar-powered gadget from an Android or iOS smartphone.
According to Adidas, the Adidas RPT-02 SOL can replay for up to 80 hours on a single, two-hour charge. The USB Type-C cable can also be used to charge them. They are 256 grammes heavy.
