Chinese informants have been releasing details regarding the upcoming iQOO Z6 series for a few weeks. Today, iQOO announced on Weibo that it will be announcing the iQOO Z6 series on August 26 at 7:30 PM (local time) in the home market.

The firm hasn't issued a Z-series phone in China since the debut of the iQOO Z5 and Z5x smartphones. The iQOO Z6 5G, iQOO Z6 Pro 5G, and iQOO Z6 44W have previously been released by the firm in India. The iQOO Z6 series that will be sold in China seems to be distinct from the Indian variants.

The iQOO Z6 and OO Z6x are the two models that will make up the iQOO Z6 portfolio for China, according to earlier rumours. The iQOO Z6's design appears to be revealed in the poster up top. It's possible that the Z6x will have a similar appearance.

According to the official posters, the iQOO Z6 will come in colours including orange, blue, and black. The front of the phone is not depicted in the photographs. However, a triple camera unit with OIS support is mounted on its rear shell.

The iQOO Z6 will reportedly sport a 120Hz IPS LCD panel and run on the Snapdragon 778G Plus mobile platform. On the rear of the gadget, a 64-megapixel primary camera is anticipated. The business has confirmed that it will carry support for 80W fast charging. It will be available in configurations like 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

The iQOO Z6x is said to support 44W rapid charging. It is expected to arrive in variants like 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The rest of its specifications are yet to be confirmed. Both devices are now available for pre-booking through Vivo’s online store and Jingdong Mall before their launch in China.
