On August 11 at 7 p.m. local time, Xiaomi will have a significant launch event in China. The business debuted the Xiaomi MIX Fold as its first foldable smartphone last year. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be made available by the firm tomorrow. On Weibo, a poster showing the phone's back is currently trending. A Weibo user released the main details of the smartphone at the same time.
According to the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 poster, it will have a different rear design than the first model. An LED flash and a triple camera unit with Leica optimization are housed in the device's horizontal camera configuration. A volume controller appears to be attached to the device's right edge. and a power button embedded with a fingerprint scanner.

A 6.56-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution will be found on the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. It will boast a 2.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass), and an under-display camera on the inside of its 8.02-inch foldable OLED Eco2 panel.
Regarding the MIX Fold 2's front camera, nothing is known. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom will be included in its back camera arrangement. The MIUI 13-themed version of Android 12 will already be installed on the smartphone.
A 4,500 mAh battery will power the MIX Fold 2 and it will support 67W rapid charging. It is unknown if the gadget will offer wireless charging. The foldable phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU. The device has already been seen at TENAA in other configurations, including 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.
When unfolded, the MIX Fold 2 is 5.4 mm thick. It will measure 11.2mm when folded. The gadget is roughly 262 grammes in weight.
