One of the top producers of chipsets for smartphones, MediaTek has also expanded its product line to include Smart TVs and IoT goods. The MediaTek T830 router chipset was just released by the business.
The recently unveiled MediaTek T830 chipset supports 5G connectivity and is designed for Wi-Fi routers and mobile hotspot devices.
The MediaTek T830 5G processor utilises the M80 modem made by the business and supports the sub-6GHz band for international 5G connectivity. It has a 3GPP Release-16 cellular modem and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 CPU.
Additionally, it has a Network Processing Unit (NPU) that enables 20Gbps speeds across 5G cellular connections to ethernet or Wi-Fi without the need for CPU involvement.
