The iPhone 14 series and the upgraded smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 8, are two of Apple's upcoming flagship devices that will be unveiled next month.
According to a recent source, the company would instead have a separate event in October to introduce at least two new iPad models rather than introducing new iPad models at the event scheduled for the next month.
The Cupertino-based tech giant reportedly intends to introduce the new entry-level Apple iPad and the Apple iPad Pro equipped with the M2 chipset. The launch date is still a mystery, but it's most likely going to happen towards the end of the month.
The updated entry-level iPad will debut as a replacement for the 2021-released Apple iPad 10.2. It is rumoured to sport a camera hump on the rear and slimmer, flat bezels. It is anticipated that the smartphone will have a larger display and an Apple A14 Bionic chipset with 5G connection.
The new Apple iPad Pro, on the other hand, will be powered by the new Apple Silicon's M2 chipset, but not much is known about this premium tablet. The launch of this tablet will coincide with the release of the iPadOS 16, which has some features especially tailors for the M2-series powered devices.
