After the launch of Snapchat+ in regions like America and Europe, the company has now launched the subscription service in India.
Snapchat users in India may now access the exclusive features as well as the beta versions of Snapchat for just Rs. 49 per month.
Six more capabilities are available to users who subscribe to Snapchat+, including the ability to modify the app icon and monitor the number of individuals who have rewatched their stories. Users of Snapchat+ can now follow friends' approximate directions using Ghost Trails on Snap Map if they have given them permission to disclose their whereabouts. Users can also designate someone as their best buddy on their profile.
The $3.99 Snapchat+ subscription programme was previously launched by Snap in late June in a number of countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada.
When it comes to the introduction, Interim Director of Market Development, Lakshya Malu Lead, Snap Inc, in a statement, said
"At Snap, our priority is still providing people with relevant experiences through the development of new products, artistic tools, and community involvement. India is a significant market for Snap, and our expansion in the country has been largely attributed to investments made in localising the app experience. We are really thrilled to provide our Indian Snapchatter community, who is eager to explore our new products and features, with exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features.
