OnePlus 10T, the mid-year T-branded smartphone, was introduced earlier this month in India. To see if OnePlus had enhanced the phone's structural resistance, JerryRigEverything on YouTube took it through a durability test. The phone was put through a series of demanding trials that included bend and scratch testing. The OnePlus 10T scored admirably in the scratch test, just as the OnePlus 10 Pro, but it failed to withstand the bend test and essentially broke in half.

The standard scratch test is performed at the beginning of Zack Nelson's six-minute film, which was uploaded to his YouTube account JerryRigEverything. The OnePlus 10T's display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The OnePlus smartphone experiences moderate scratches at Mohs hardness level six and deeper grooves at level seven, similar to the majority of smartphones. The phone was scratched, but it still functioned perfectly.

The YouTuber burned the display during one of the rounds of the OnePlus 10T durability test. The AMOLED screen was burned and permanently marked, yet it continued to function. It was demonstrated in the video that the SIM tray of the version sold in the US has a red-colored gasket for water resistance. The variant receives an IP54 dust and water resistance rating.

The OnePlus 10T now sports a plastic frame instead of the metal frame found in the OnePlus 10 Pro. The texture on the latter's back panel (Moonstone Black) "acted as a sandpaper for the Youtuber's blade" whereas the former doesn't maintain the paint after being scratched with a razor blade. The JerryRigEverything channel's video demonstrated that the OnePlus 10T's frame and glass back were insufficiently robust to withstand bending. Like the OnePlus 10 Pro, the phone practically split in half, and when it breaks from just below the camera module, it loses functionality.

The starting pricing for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the OnePlus 10T in India is Rs. 46,999. It has an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The triple rear camera system on the OnePlus 10T includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX769 main sensor. It has a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery that allows cable charging at 150W SuperVOOC Endurance Edition.
