In China, Xiaomi releases a new Redmi K50 model with 12GB of storage.

 The Redmi K50 family of smartphones was unveiled in China a few months ago. The Redmi K50 series was one of the best smartphones produced by the company, and during the device's launch event yesterday, they revealed a new colour and storage option. Other goods launched at the same event included the Redmi Note 11T series, Redmi Buds 4 Pro, and Xiaomi Band 7.

Redmi K50 has been released with a new storage configuration.

A new Redmi K50 smartphone model with comparable specs but an improved 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage option was announced by the firm. Cost of the new 12GB version is CNY 2899. (approx USD 435). The product is already available for pre-order in China and will be sold there starting on May 26th, 2022. Additionally, the business has unveiled Ice White, a new colour option for the gadget with a matte white back panel.


Beginning on June 18th, 2022, all models will be able to purchase the new colour option, which will cost CNY 2399. (approx USD 360). The Redmi K50 smartphone now comes in these two configurations. As soon as these new models went on official sale, users would have access to them.


It includes a 6.67-inch QuadHD+ AMOLED screen with support for up to 120Hz high refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and precisely calibrated colours as far as specifications go. Up to 12GB of RAM and a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 5G SoC power it (newly introduced). With a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor, it sports a triple back camera configuration. A 20-megapixel front selfie camera is housed in the punch-hole cutout in the centre.
