The Honor Tablet 8 was formally unveiled by Honor last month in its native China. The Dawn Blue colour version with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is now available for purchase from the firm for 1,999 yuan ($295).
Mint Green, the tablet's other colour, will be sold in the Chinese market starting on August 31. The 4GB RAM base model starts at 1,499 Yuan, and a 6GB RAM model can be had for 1,799 Yuan. In China, both variants were offered for sale, albeit the 8GB RAM model is now available.
In terms of technical details, the Honor Tablet 8 has a 12-inch 2K LCD with a 2000 × 1200 pixel screen resolution. The screen boasts a 10:6 aspect ratio, a 7.2mm thin bezel, with 1.07 billion colour options.
The device's internal storage capacity is 128GB, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor can support up to 8GB of RAM. A 5-megapixel camera sensor is located on the back of the device and a 5-megapixel camera is located on the front for selfies and video calls.
It possesses Rheinland hardware-level low blue light, Rheinland no flicker, and National Eye Engineering Center certification for eye protection. Additionally, DTS:X Ultrasound and Huawei's Histen sound effects are supported.a better sound experience.
The tablet runs the Magic UI 6.1, which comes with support for multi-screen collaboration, an application split screen that offers free adjustment of three-speed windows, as well as new upgraded Smart desktop experiences. The Honor Tablet 8 is powered by a 7,250mAh battery and comes with support for 22.5W fast charging.
