How therefore does this useful feature operate? Quick Action is an Automator process that has been available on Mac since macOS Mojave, for those who are unaware. It's made to let you automate routine actions like rotating an image or generating a PDF without having to launch an application.


The "Convert Image" Quick Action has been added, making it possible to batch convert a selection of images or convert an image from one format to another. Additionally, you can utilise this to your advantage.s Automator workflow to change the file size and remove the file’s metadata depending on your needs. Let me show you how it works!


First, right-click (or Ctrl-click) an image file or just drag a selection box over a number of photos to begin.

Step 2: A contextual menu with numerous choices will now appear. Select Convert Images by selecting Quick Actions.
