Some MIUI users have reported Telegram app crashes on their phones, albeit not all MIUI users experience this problem. Nekogram, a Telegram user, claims that both MIUI and Telegram are to blame, and the Nekogram team has provided a fix for the problem. On the Play Store, click here to download the Nekogram app.
Why do certain users' copies of Telegram crash?
In some circumstances, software updates are necessary to ensure stable operation. Years have passed with a legacy Telegram code remaining inactive, but the MIUI team made a change that led to an app crash as a result of a warning. The main Telegram client has not yet received a remedy for this issue, however the Nekogram app will be upgraded to do so shortly.
What should you do if the MIUI version of your Telegram app crashes?
Not all MIUI devices have the problem, but the developers of the Nekogram app have provided a straightforward workaround for those that are. To temporarily fix the issue, run the following command on the root shell or ADB. The command "settings put global wtf is fatal" can be copied from this page.
You will require root access to the shell, although you may opt to use the ADB shell on your PC instead. Do you also experience Telegram crashes? Please share your thoughts in the comments. This link will take you to Nekogram's whole post.
