The MIUI 14 feature list began to appear as soon as MIUI 13 was released, over a year ago. Xiaomi startled the world by releasing the MIUI 14 version as everyone was anticipating for a MIUI 13.5 version to bridge the gap between MIUI 13 and MIUI 14.

The MIUI 14 version is anticipated to have a new design language. For years, MIUI has updated its versions as 1 version optimization and 1 version redesign. Following the introduction of MIUI 12, optimization versions of MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 13 were made available. It's time to flip the script because MIUI 14 will soon be available and include a new design language.

Devices ineligible for MIUI 14

The devices listed below that are ineligible for MIUI 14 will not receive the new, significant interface update. Unfortunately, the new MIUI 14 Update won't be installed on your device if it is not listed among the MIUI 14 Eligible Devices. As a result, you won't be able to utilise this new interface's interesting features. These new features won't be available for the devices on the list.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite POCO M2 / Pro POCO C3 / C31

Although it is rather disappointing to see these devices no longer receiving official updates, it was time for them to retire. Since these smartphones run the outdated Android version 11, it gets harder to adapt the new features to this outdated Android foundation, just like with the MIUI skin's new upgrades. The operating system depends more and more on the Android version. Because of this, it is acceptable for the software support of the devices to be interrupted. To find out which devices' software support has already ended and been added to the end-of-support list, consult the Xiaomi EOS list. To view the Xiaomi EOS list, click here.

Will my device receive MIUI 14?

You can check your device on the list of MIUI 14 Eligible Devices if you're curious about which Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices will receive MIUI 14. All of the above smartphones will receive the MIUI 14 upgrade.

What will the brand-new MIUI 14 interface have to offer?

The new MIUI interface, MIUI 14, has more functionality and updated system apps. It is important to note that many programmes have been simplified and revamped. It should be noted that this new interface improves system animations, makes the notes, camera, and other applications more practical and useful when using the phone with one hand. On the modifications made in the MIUI 13 beta versions, we base them. After a certain amount of time, MIUI 14 will be available. It is currently being developed in MIUI 13 beta updates.

When will the brand-new MIUI 14 interface debut?

The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro, the company's upcoming flagship devices with the codenames "Fuxi" and "Nuwa," have already been leaked by us. The Xiaomi 13 series will be the first to have the new MIUI 14 interface, and this series will ship pre-installed with the MIUI 14 interface based on Android 13. Given that the Xiaomi 13 series will debut in November, the new MIUI 14 user interface will appear four months after the Xiaomi 13 series.

When will Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices receive the new MIUI 14 interface?

You might be curious as to when your smartphones will start receiving the MIUI 14 interface, which will debut with the Xiaomi 13 series. Xiaomi's flagship devices will be the first to receive MIUI 14, which will begin to be released in the first quarter of 2023. All of the devices on the list of MIUI 14 eligible devices will have received this update by the time the devices that will receive from the second and third quarters of 2023 are released.

What is the most recent state of affairs for consumers whose devices are listed as MIUI 14 Ineligible? If your device isn't included among the MIUI 14 Eligible Devices, don't worry. You shouldn't be concerned, though, as unofficial software development has been around for a while. We are confident that at least some smartphones will receive unofficial MIUI builds with higher Android versions, enabling them to keep up with new upgrades' novelties.

The Project Treble system is also set up to allow access to these more recent versions, which are not normally available through official channels. You can read our other content from above that covers GSI if you want to learn more about it.

The version in between MIUI 14 and MIUI 13 will be MIUI 13.1. The first beta version of MIUI 14 will be MIUI 13.1. To understand more about the MIUI 13.1 version, which is based on Android 13, see our MIUI 13.1 article.
