According to a business executive who spoke on a podcast, Meta will release its next virtual reality (VR) gear in October. The CEO added that more information regarding the new VR headset would be revealed at Meta's Connect conference. The CEO continued that the headset would include a few "major features." The VR headgear will be able to follow the user's face and eyes. According to the Meta CEO, the VR avatar will move in response to the wearer's facial expressions. The headset has previously been speculated to be a component of "Project Cambria."

The new VR headgear will be released by Meta, formerly known as Facebook, in October of this year, according to Mark Zuckerberg, CEO, who made the announcement on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast. In the podcast, Zuckerberg also mentioned that the company's Connect conference will provide more information about the upcoming VR headgear.

Mark Zuckerberg stated that Meta's upcoming VR headset will receive a few "major features" in the Joe Rogan show. Zuckerberg continued by describing the features, mentioning that the headgear will allow both facial and eye tracking. According to Zuckerberg, this will enable eye contact in virtual reality. The wearer's facial expression will be imitated and emoted in real time by the avatar, which will also follow your face, according to him. For instance, whether a user smiles or frowns, their virtual reality (VR) avatars will do the same.

In accordance with a January story, 'Project Cambria' is rumoured to include Meta's new VR headset.

Meta said in July that starting in August, the cost of the Meta Quest 2 VR headset would increase. The Quest 2's 128GB and 256GB models have been priced at $399.99 (approximately Rs. 32,000) and $499.99, respectively. Additionally, the corporation raised the cost of various accessories and refurbished products.
