Details about the Lenovo Legion Y70 camera and a confirmed battery size

 The launch date of the Legion Y70 has been confirmed by Lenovo as of today. The business has been gradually disclosing the device's primary features in the lead up to introduction. The Chinese maker has confirmed the Legion Y70's camera setups and battery capacity through recent Weibo posts.


The 50-megapixel main camera on the Legion Y70 will have a 1/1.5-inch sensor size. It will offer OIS/EIS and 30 frames per second 8K video recording. A 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera will be added to the primary camera. The latter also functions as a macro camera.



The Y70 will be backed by a 5,100mAh battery and weigh around 209 grams. The device promises 8.5 hours of gaming time, 18 hours of video playback, and 35 hours of music playback. The big battery will carry support for 68W fast charging. According to the company, it can charge the battery to 80 percent capacity in just 34 minutes.

Past reports have revealed that the Legion Y70 will come with a 6.58-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. It is expected to support a 144Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole display is expected to house a 13-megapixel selfie camera.



The Legion Y70's engine will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is anticipated to ship with up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory. The ZUI 13-based Android 12 OS will power it. There is no information available regarding the device's price. It will be offered in three colours, including Flame Red, Titanium Crystal Grey, and Ice Soul White. It is unknown if the business intends to release it in markets other than China.
