At the event today, Xiaomi unveiled a number of new goods, all of which, in my opinion, were really awesome. However, Xiaomi's first full-size humanoid robot, named CyberOne, really caught our attention. Of course, this is not the first robotic product the Chinese tech titan has released. A CyberDog, as its name suggests, was previously unveiled by the business and was modelled like our furry companion.

According to the manufacturer, CyberOne is a 177cm tall, 52kg humanoid bionic robot. Its moniker is "Metal bro," and someway Leo has been assigned as its zodiac sign. The robot can view the world in three dimensions and has a curved OLED display for its face. It features two microphones for hearing.

It has a self-created whole-body control algorithm from Xiaomi that can synchronise the motion of 21 joints. The humanoid robot is also capable of deciphering 85 ambient semantics and 45 human semantic emotions. It is said that the robot picks up new talents every day.

According to Xiaomi, the CyberOne humanoid robot combines advanced mechatronics and artificial intelligence developed by the company's dedicated Robot Labs. The business assertssignificant resources and labor were used to build the CyberOne.

CyberOne is only a first-generation product, and the majority of its features are currently under development. With Boston Dynamics robots, it's still not close. The robot, though, has unquestionably outperformed Tesla's humanoid prototype.

Robots still seem like a sliver of a dystopian nightmare, but recent advancements in the sector imply that the future will be replete with robotic devices and automated technology. Robots will very soon be a part of daily life, whether you like it or not.

Xiaomi's CyberOne Robot isn't yet available for purchase, but it would cost between 600,000 and 700,000 yuan (about $89,100 and $104,000).
