The Google Pixel series of smartphones were among the first to get the new, significant update when Android 13 was just formally unveiled. However, it appears that for some Pixel owners, the upgrade broke a crucial feature.
Owners of Pixel series devices have taken to Reddit to voice their complaints over the latest significant Android 13 OS upgrade, according to a 9To5Google article. It appears that with the recent update, the wireless charging capability has ceased working for some users. In case you weren't aware, Pixel devices have had wireless charging as a standard feature from the Pixel 3 series. Additionally, information of feature breaking for devices ranging from the Pixel 3 to the most recent Pixel 6 series has recently come to light.

Despite the problem affecting many generations of Pixel devices, the survey indicated that most complaints came from owners of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL models. Additionally, the Reddit users said that the problem impacts their cellphone regardless of the chargers they employ. However, there are several methods for resolving this problem; one user claimed that restarting in safe mode and then rebooting again frequently resolved this problem. Others, however, said that this was ineffective for them.

There hasn't yet been any formal statement from the dominant search engine reporting this specific fault. Therefore, it is unknown when a formal patch will be released. But stay tuned for more because we'll let you know when more details about this situation become available.
