In fact, the OPPO Reno8 Pro is a rebranded version of the Chinese Reno8 Pro Plus and has recently gone global but has different features from the model marketed in China. Its spec sheet is so cutting-edge that this gadget can compete with the vanilla OPPO Find X5 from the company's most recent flagship series. Despite having high-end specifications and being designed for the worldwide market, these two smartphones' costs are not exorbitant like those of the priciest phones on the market. Many people are unsure which device to purchase, therefore in order to please them while we awaited the global release of the Reno8 Pro, we decided to compare the features of the OPPO Find X5 and the OPPO Reno8 Pro.
Design
Between these two phones, the OPPO Find X5 has the design that is the most innovative. It has the same design as the Find X5 Pro but is composed of less expensive materials. It still has high-quality materials, but instead of ceramic, it has a glass back and an aluminium frame. The phone's front has a curved display with a high screen-to-body ratio. Unfortunately, this phone does not have any sort of certification for water and dust resistance, however Gorilla Glass Victus is used to protect the display. Although the OPPO Reno8 Pro has a glass back and an aluminium frame, the screen is not curved at the sides, and the front glass is covered in Gorilla Glass. Glass 5. I personally prefer the Find X5 because it is more original and more compact, even though the Reno is thinner and lighter than its internal rival.
Display
These two phones' displays are different in size, yet they share the same characteristics. The Find X5 features a smaller display with just 6.55 inches of diagonal space compared to the OPPO Reno8 Pro's bigger 6.7 inches. With a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400p, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the HDR10+ certification, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, these panels are AMOLED panels that can display up to one billion colours. While having stereo speakers and in-display fingerprint readers, these phones do not have audio connectors. Even though their displays are not the greatest available, they have exceptional image quality. But most people won't pay attention. any difference between these panels and the best ones on the market.
Features & Software
Despite having differing processors, the physical configurations of the OPPO Find X5 and OPPO Reno8 Pro are roughly on par. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, manufactured at a 5 nm process node and featuring an octa-core architecture, powers the OPPO Find X5. A Cortex X1 CPU, three Cortex A78 CPUs, four Cortex A55 CPUs, an Adreno 660 GPU, and a Cortex A55 CPU with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz make up this processor. The Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, manufactured in 5 nm and featuring an octa-core architecture made up of four Cortex A78 processors, powers the OPPO Reno8 Pro Global.CPUs running at 2.8 GHz, four Cortex A55 CPUs running at 2 GHz, and a Mali G610 MC6 GPU.The Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, manufactured in 5 nm, powers the OPPO Reno8 Pro Global. It features an octa-core architecture with four Cortex A78 CPUs operating at 2.8 GHz, four Cortex A55 CPUs operating at 2 GHz, and a Mali G610 MC6 GPU. Depending on the configuration, the chipsets can be combined with up to 256 GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12 GB of RAM. Even though I personally choose the Snapdragon 888, their processors offer around the same performance. Both devices come pre-installed with Android 12, but the Find X5 is expected to receive a greater number of significant updates.
Camera
Due to its secondary sensors, the OPPO Find X5 prevails in the camera comparison. Each phone has a 50 MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, and the MariSilicon X, the company's first proprietary NPU, can enhance nighttime photos and movies with a power of 18 TOPS. However, the OPPO Find X5 offers superior secondary sensors, including a 50 MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide camera and a 13 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. The OPPO Reno8 Pro sports a 2 MP macro camera and an 8 MP ultrawide lens.
Battery
The OPPO Find X5 has a larger battery than the OPPO Reno8 Pro, which allows it to operate for longer on a single charge. Furthermore, unlike its internal competition, it has wireless charging.
Price
The OPPO Find X5 costs €1000/$1000 worldwide, whilst the OPPO Reno8 Pro has not yet entered the European market and costs roughly €550/$550 in India. Even though the Reno will undoubtedly provide a better value for the money, the Find X5 comes out on top in the specs comparison.
