Oppo and Spotify have collaborated to improve the new ColorOS 13's music streaming experience.
One of the greatest updates is the addition of the Spotify widget to the Always On Display mode. It has a little widget by default that displays the song that is presently playing (with album art). If you double-tap it, playback controls will appear without waking up the phone.
You can use the unique home screen widgets that go with the Aquamorphic OS design once the phone has been unlocked. Additionally, there is a Spotify card on the Shelf that provides song suggestions.
You may use the ColorOS 13 Clock app to choose individual music, playlists, or podcasts to begin playing instead of the regular alarm sound, making using Spotify a more pleasant way to wake up. Take note that a future OTA update will make this available (coming after September 15).
"Our collaboration with Spotify represents a fresh look at the potential of mobile operating systems. We are offering consumers a more intelligent and efficient operating system so they can spend more time doing things they enjoy. This is done through smart, convenient, and human-centric features created with our partners. more time enjoying music and the other most-loved features on the OPPO smartphones,” said Gary Chen, Head of OPPO Software Product.
