 Reliance At Reliance Industries' 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, Mukesh Ambani said that Jio would start deploying 5G services in India by October. The largest telecom company in the nation disclosed a Rs. 2 lakh crore investment to roll out 5G connectivity by Diwali in cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. The nationwide rollout of the 5G network by December 2023 has been confirmed. To create 5G solutions for India, it is collaborating with Qualcomm. Jio also unveiled Jio Air Fiber, a service that will provide an end-to-end wireless 5G experience.

Reliance Jio announced the deployment of 5G infrastructure in India during the 45th Annual General Meeting of the business. We'll deploy Jio 5G by Diwali 2022 in a number of cities, including the major metropolises of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, according to Mukesh Ambani.


By December 2023, Ambani's company hopes to offer Jio 5G service in every Indian town, taluka, and tehsil. The corporation asserts that the speed of its 5G rollout would be unmatched worldwide.

The telecom provider has disclosed that it will spend Rs. 2 lakh crore on the national rollout of a fifth-generation mobile network. Jio and Qualcomm are working together to provide 5G solutions for India. Additionally, it is working with Google to create 5G cellphones that are affordable and Google Cloud.


Jio Chairman Akash Ambani also unveiled JioAirFiber, a wireless option that enables consumers to access gigabit-speed Internet at their homes and places of business. The company's single wireless device can be hooked into a power source to function as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
