Back in September 2021, Apple had announced its latest 9th generation of iPad. Now, the company is preparing to release its next gen iPads later this year. But prior to any official announcement, the CAD renders of the iPad 2022 has been spotted, revealing its design.

MySmartPrice was the only website to share the CAD renderings. These pictures give us a first glimpse at the 10th-generation iPad's gorgeous design. These CAD renders do not corroborate the tablet's rumoured move to the USB Type C standard for charging and data transfer, contrary to earlier claims. With the front camera on top and Touch ID at the bottom of the display, the next-generation device will look a lot like the 9th-generation iPads, according to these photos.

Additionally, there are pronounced bezels on all four corners of the screen panel. The renders show a single back camera sensor, just like its predecessor. The future iPad, however, will include a small oval-shaped camera module identical to the iPhone X series, unlike the 9th generation iPads. Both the single camera and an LED flash module are housed here. The only other noteworthy feature on the back is the brand emblem for the Cupertino-based company.

The speaker grilles for the device's four speakers, two of which are placed on the top and two of which are on the bottom, are visible. Although its charging connector is visible, it is covered in red, making it impossible to tell if it is an Apple Lightning port or a Type C port. According to what we already know, the A14 chipset used in the iPhone 12 series will power the 10th generation iPad, which may have a larger 10.5- or 10.9-inch Retina display. Until we receive further information, this is all we can say. Check back for updates.
