WhatsApp beta is listed as a suitable upgrade for iOS 22.18.0.70.

Despite installing the upgrade, I am missing this feature. Why? Some beta testers have received access to this functionality. Please hold off on installing the upcoming updates if you don't have this functionality.

Thanks for testing and reporting, SiLent, _Youssef, and Javi r96!

Earlier news?

What's new in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.18.0.70? The option to view status changes in the conversation list is now available on WhatsApp.

We previously spoke about the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.22.18.13 upgrade, which adds the option to restore accidentally deleted messages when you select "delete for myself" rather than "delete for everyone." It appears that WhatsApp began working on this function after making reference of an undo capability in a tweet. or is it just an accident? It doesn't matter as much since what we have to say today is more significant: WhatsApp is finally prepared to activate the same feature on the iOS beta after giving it to a small number of beta testers on the WhatsApp beta for Android!

This screenshot demonstrates how a snackbar notifies the user that a message has been erased when it is deleted using the "delete for me" option. In this scenario, you can undo it to restore it, therefore the quickest approach to determine if the capability is accessible for your account is to have someone else remove a message for you. It goes without saying that you won't be able to restore deleted messages later if the snackbar vanishes and you don't utilise the undo function. Additionally, at the present, not everyone's deleted messages display in the snackbar.

If the snackbar doesn't appear, don't worry. WhatsApp is used to releasing features to selected beta testers day by day, so you should be able to use the undo feature when the next updates are available over the coming weeks. You should be able to get the feature by updating WhatsApp to the 22.18.0.70 beta available on TestFlight.
