WhatsApp recently added a number of new capabilities to its instant messaging service, including the ability to send larger files, mute messages from certain users in a group conversation, and hide friends' most recent profile image and active status.
On Android devices running versions up to 2.22.17.12, the capability will be made accessible to WhatsApp beta testers. If you attempt to delete an incoming message as the group administrator and see the option to "delete for everyone," it means the feature is accessible to you. When you remove a message sent to the entire group by another group member, your name will always be displayed in the chat bubble, letting everyone know that you did so.
Additionally, WhatsApp is releasing a fix for the catch-up button. In the current faulty version, the catch-up button, which ordinarily appears when someone mentions you in a group chat, shows up for no apparent reason.
